Gina and Henry’s wedding in Asthall, Oxfordshire

Jul 19, 2009 | Wedding photographer Sussex

Gina and Henry were married yesterday in the beautiful village of Asthall in Oxfordshire. It was a lovely wedding with all the locations situated within walking distance of each other in the same village. After the church ceremony, everyone headed off to a Morroccan themed marquee for the evening. Gina had gone to great lengths to make sure everything was perfect and her efforts certainly paid off!

About Asthall, Oxfordshire

Asthall, Oxfordshire offers the distinctive atmosphere of a Cambridge/Oxford-style college wedding — ancient quads, stone cloisters and dining halls full of tradition.

College weddings carry a quiet formality that I love photographing. Quads, cloisters and chapel interiors — none of which look anything like a country house wedding. I lean into that difference rather than trying to photograph it the same way.
