Sophie and John’s wedding at Sedgewick Park House

Sophie and John were married on Saturday at St Andrew’s Church in Nuthurst followed by a reception at Sedgewick Park House.  The ceremony was very entertaining with a hilarious vicar and also singing by gospel choir “Brighton Goes Gospel”.  Dry weather and stunning autumnal colours allowed for some beautiful outdoor photos both at the Church and also at the reception venue which had lovely grounds.

About Sedgewick Park House

Sedgewick Park House is a country house wedding venue in the best English tradition — grand reception rooms, formal gardens and the kind of gravel-drive approach that sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. Couples typically use the main state rooms for the ceremony and dinner, with the grounds opening up space for portraits and evening drinks.

The scale of a venue like this means I can move through the day without ever feeling rushed or on top of the guests. Wide reception rooms, long corridors and the grounds outside give me space to work both close and at distance — which is how you end up with an album that has real variety in it.
