Godstone church and Coltsford Mill is a traditional parish church wedding venue with the quiet formality that comes with a church ceremony. The stone interior, stained-glass windows and peal of bells set the tone before guests move on to the reception nearby.
The strongest church photography tends to happen at the two ends of the ceremony — the bride arriving at the door and the couple leaving as husband and wife. Both are fleeting, and I’m usually in position well before they happen so nothing gets missed.
