About Farnham Castle

Farnham Castle brings the full drama of a castle setting to a wedding day — stone walls, period interiors and the kind of grounds that turn every exterior shot into something cinematic. Ceremonies are typically held in the most historic room of the castle before the reception moves out into the great hall or a marquee on the lawns.

Couple portraits at a castle reward a slightly slower pace. I usually pull the couple away from the guests for twenty or thirty minutes in the early evening to explore the grounds — courtyards, battlements, any stretch of wall that catches the light — while the drinks reception flows on without them.
