Kala and Julian’s wedding at The Sculpture Gallery, Woburn Abbey

Nov 13, 2010 | Wedding Photographers London

Yesterday was my second visit to Woburn Abbey for the wedding of Kala and Julian. I met them for the first time on Wednesday evening when we went through the plans for the day. It was a fast paced day but Kala and Julian were very keen for the more creative shots and on the day they were brilliant at giving me time to produce these for them. The ceremony was lovely with more than a few tears being held back and a personalised and very amusing reading! At the reception they had one of the best magicians I have ever seen, who was a school friend of Julian and the reactions of the guests were hilarious! They are off on a mystery honeymoon on Tuesday and I can’t wait to hear where they end up going!

About The Sculpture Gallery, Woburn Abbey

The Sculpture Gallery, Woburn Abbey is the kind of urban wedding venue that tells you, the moment you walk in, that this isn’t going to be a traditional country-house day. Strong architecture, modern interiors and city views set a very different tone.

The advantage of a city-centre venue is that you can walk out of the front door into a completely different photographic environment. Five minutes of portraits against glass, stone or street lights gives an album images that couldn’t have been taken at any other kind of wedding.
