On Wednesday, we were contacted by Uliana who wanted to arrange a pre-wedding shoot, to take place this week! She sent over some ideas for the shoot and we decided that the New Forest would be the perfect location for the fun, relaxed style of photography that she was looking for. The date was arranged for today and then a trip to ‘Not Just For Hire’ and we had a car full of brilliant props to use during the shoot.
We drove down to Brockenhurst and despite the rather dubious weather forecast the sun was shining and it was pleasantly warm. The forest was looking beautiful although still pretty wet after the recent flooding. We met up with Uliana and Ilya at the Beaulieu Hotel where the amazing Gemma Sutton was doing Uliana’s hair and make-up for her. We have worked with Gemma on a number of occasions and we are always impressed by her skills! During the day we went to three different locations with Uliana wearing a different outfit and with hair and make-up restyled by Gemma each time.
Ilya and Uliana are London based interior designers who met when they were just 12 years old at home in Russia. They are getting married on July 25th this year in Moscow. The images from their pre-wedding shoot will be used for their wedding stationery and to display on their wedding day. We had so much fun with them, they are so comfortable together and we bonded with them very fast, which allowed us to get a great range of different images.
We are looking forward to seeing their photographs from their wedding day!
