Lis and Steve were married on Saturday at St Mary Magdalene’s Church in Madehurst followed by a marquee reception at Lis’s parents Farmhouse nearby. Unfortunately the weather was not being friendly and it rained pretty much all day however this did not dampen the atmosphere in any way at all!
Barrie started the day with the boys on the golf course at Goodwood.
St Mary Magdalene’s church is tiny and over 1000 years old – a very special place for a wedding ceremony with one of the friendliest vicars we have ever come across.
Lis had three of the cutest flowergirls who were very happy to pose for photos!
Lis looked absolutely amazing
Rhythm and Blues Band Mr Charlie provided the evening entertainement.
We both wish Steve and Lis all the very best for the future. (Barrie is not at all jealous that they will be visiting the Nurburgring while on honeymoon!)

This wedding was photographed on location in the south of England. Every venue shapes the day in its own way, and the photography is a response to the building, the light and the people in front of me.
The photography of any wedding is a response to the venue, the light and the people in front of me. I work in a documentary style for most of the day and carve out a short portrait session around golden hour, which almost always produces the album’s hero images.
