Lily and Maurice’s wedding

Jul 9, 2007 | Wedding photographer Sussex

Lily and Maurice were married yesterday in a traditional Jewish ceremony at Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue.  Prior to the ceremony, we spent a couple of hours with them at The Grove Hotel, a stunning venue where they were staying taking some amazing portrait photos of them both.  Lily looked fantastic in a gorgeous Caroline Castigliano dress, every bit the beautiful Bride and Maurice looked so proud the whole day.

Wedding photography notes

This wedding was photographed on location in the south of England. Every venue shapes the day in its own way, and the photography is a response to the building, the light and the people in front of me.

The photography of any wedding is a response to the venue, the light and the people in front of me. I work in a documentary style for most of the day and carve out a short portrait session around golden hour, which almost always produces the album’s hero images.
