Becki and Nev got married on Friday at the Holy Trinity Church, Blendworth and their reception took place at the Peterfield Golf Club. The management kindly laid on some golf buggies so Barrie went off with the couple to the lake as the grounds are beautiful. There was a string quartet playing during the meal and they had to learn a new tune to welcome the new Mr & Mrs Simpson to dinner – I am sure you can guess what the tune was!

This wedding was photographed on location in the south of England. Every venue shapes the day in its own way, and the photography is a response to the building, the light and the people in front of me.
The photography of any wedding is a response to the venue, the light and the people in front of me. I work in a documentary style for most of the day and carve out a short portrait session around golden hour, which almost always produces the album’s hero images.
