Eugenie and Raphael wedding at Pennyhill Park started when they were married in a romantic outdoor ceremony on an overcast June day with the threat of showers but they did not let that dampen their spirits. Gemma Sutton did her usual amazing job with hair and makeup before Eugenie’s mother and bridesmaids helped her into her gorgeous Caroline Castigliano wedding dress and very high Prada shoes!. It was a very international wedding with their families coming over from France and lots of friends and other family members flying in from as far afield as Hong Kong and New York.Anna and her team at Pennyhill Park made sure everything went without a hitch and the party was very energetic running late into the night.

This wedding was photographed on location in the south of England. Every venue shapes the day in its own way, and the photography is a response to the building, the light and the people in front of me.
The photography of any wedding is a response to the venue, the light and the people in front of me. I work in a documentary style for most of the day and carve out a short portrait session around golden hour, which almost always produces the album’s hero images.
