How to take the perfect fashion blog instagram photograph

If you are a fashion blogger looking to take great photos for your instagram account here are my 5 top tips for photography for fashion bloggers

  1. Think about the light! for great photos you need great light. if you can avoid shooting at midday you will have better quality of light early morning or later in the afternoon.
  2. Shoot into the sun with your subject backlit by the sun, if you over expose your shot you will get that clean white background and correct exposure on the face that is so popular with fashion blogs right now.
  3. Choose background and tones of buildings or landscape that compliment the colours and materials that you are wearing.
  4. Have fun! don’t forget to not look too serious in all of the photos, people want their bloggers to seem friendly and just like them and not a serious supermodel.
  5. keep the pallet of colours for your instagram similar so you have a consistent look and feel across your feed with no jarring colours or dark and light images.
