Friday saw a first for us – Bev was in London to photograph a proposal, which had been arranged by Los Angeles based proposal planner, Michele Velazquez from The Heart Bandits. Mohit and Kresha had flown in from LA with their families from LA and India and the scene was set in the Garden Museum, a small oasis of calm in the midst of central London. The garden was transformed by the team from The Urban Flower Firm (TUFF) with hundreds of butterflies, Olive trees, flowers and fairy lights and despite an hour long downpour of monsoon like proportions by the time Mohit arrived, the garden looked magical!
Kresha arrived shortly after looking amazing in a long flowing red dress and she was led into the garden by Mohit who read her special messages on cards tied to the trees. The final tree had a gorgeous eternity ring tied to the card which Mohit presented to Kresha before leading her to the wooden gazebo where he went down on one knee and asked for Kresha’s hand in marriage. Of course she said yes! They enjoyed some private time together before we headed over to the South Bank for a few photographs overlooking Westminster before I left them to celebrate with their families.
I just loved photographing this proposal and I wish Mohit and Kresha every happiness for the future! Here are a selection of images from the evening.
