On Saturday we had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Saori and Phil at Eastnor Castle in Ledbury. Phil is a wedding photographer himself and it is always an honour to be trusted with photographing the wedding of a fellow professional! Eastnor Castle is a magnificent wedding venue and absolutely fantastic for wedding photography, particularly when the weather is as lovely as it was for Saori and Phil’s day.
Saori and Phil chose to see each other for the first time on their wedding day at the bottom of the grand staircase in the Castle. It was lovely to see Saori, looking a million dollars in a beautiful lace Pronovias dress making her way down the stairs with her father to a very nervous Phil with friends and family looking on. Unfortunately we were unable to photograph the civil ceremony due to restrictions from the registrar but the rest of the day was a fun mixture of candid images and also our signature Bride and Groom photographs, which Saori and Phil were brilliant for. We were able to go down towards the lovely lake, which is overlooked by the Castle for some photographs of them both together before the wedding meal was served.
After the meal, Saori and Phil performed an incredibly energetic first dance, the likes of which we have not seen before! We both had a thoroughly enjoyable day with Saori and Phil and we hope they will treasure their wedding photographs for many years to come.
