Kendra & James had a fantastic Jewish wedding ceremony on Sunday at the stunning Mandarin Oriental hotel in Knightsbridge. Kendra got ready with the help of her bridesmaids and her mother in a beautiful room overlooking the hustle and bustle of Knightsbridge down below. James looked very smart in his black tie dinner suit as he emerged from the Knightsbridge underground station and crossed the road to the Mandarin Oriental. They had a traditional Jewish wedding ceremony held under a huppah in the ballroom overlooking Hyde Park including the tradition of After the bride has been given the ring, or at the end of the ceremony (depending on local custom), the groom breaks a glass, crushing it with his right foot, and the guests shout “Mazel tov!” (“Congratulations“)
After a very emotional ceremony they had a champagne reception for their guest before the wedding breakfast and then into the evening with a fabulous band and traditional Jewish wedding dancing which is always a fun packed few hours at any wedding but was spectacular at Kendra and James wedding.
The Mandarin Oriental is a fabulous venue for a wedding reception in Knightsbridge London and Kendra & James gave me ample time to get some unique images for their wedding album.

About the Mandarin Oriental Knightsbridge Kendra & James
the Mandarin Oriental Knightsbridge Kendra & James is a distinctive wedding venue that brings its own character to the day. Every venue shapes the photography in its own way, and part of my approach is to work with whatever the building and the grounds offer rather than against them.
Every wedding venue shapes the photography in its own way, and part of my approach is to work with what each venue offers rather than against it. I scout the best light before the day starts, plan around the building’s architecture and move through the day as the couple does.
