Aynhoe Park wedding photography Oxford

“I’m really sorry, we have had to move the polar bear”. Not something we are used to hearing at weddings but then Aynhoe Park is no normal wedding venue. It is a crazy, bonkers, ecentric mix of the old and new and holds a massive collection of stuffed animals, creative artworks, fine photography and a David Attenborough documentary being piped into the plush ladies washrooms! Combined with a beautiful house and stunning grounds, this is a venue we really enjoyed photographing.

The occasion was the wedding of Rafiel and Angeli, which was just bursting with personal touches arranged by Ang and Raf and hugely appreciated by their many guests. Everything from the ceremony music and orders of service to the wedding storyboard and table names were very personalised and reflected their relationship and personalities to a tee. Angeli wore the most beautiful wedding dress from Pronovias for the ceremony, which took place in the bright orangery and then changed after the meal into a unique decorative white fish tail dress designed by Ami Matona for the party and dancing.

We left the party as the guests were being introduced to the Electric Slide by the one and only MC Timmy. Ang and RAf are off on honeymoon to Mauritius and Dubai and we wish them every happiness and look forward to catching up when they get home.
