A recent Nigerian wedding that we photographed at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane, had over 3000 guests, many of whom had flown in from all over the world. To top off the day, the couple had decided to book Wizkid, an iconic Nigerian pop star, for their wedding evening entertainment and as a surprise for their guests. When he was announced on stage, the guests could not believe they were being treated to a private concert by one of Nigeria’s most celebrated recording artists and suddenly guests flooded onto the dance floor, screaming with delight as they did so and then danced the night away in pure Nigerian style!
