Weddings At the Hempel Hotel London
One of my favourite wedding venues in London The Temple Hotel is no more. Sold off to property developers to be turned into exclusive apartments it was an iconic fixture with many celebrities staying there including Michael Jackson and the Beckhams.
Sixties actress Anouska Hempel designed the interiors of the stucco-fronted terrace in her “minimalist” style and it provide a hit with its clean design and white walls. I remember the first time I stayed there and could not find my way into the bedroom as the design was so minimalist it didn’t even have door handles to clutter the straight lines and clean design ethos.
