The Chapel at Lancing College is one of the most stunning wedding venues I have ever been lucky enough to photograph in. Not only was yesterday’s wedding taking place at an amazing location but Charlotte and Paul were one of the most easy going and fun loving couples too. After the ceremony conducted by the lovely Reverend Peter Irwin-Clark, all of the guests enjoyed champagne in the Chapel cloisters and grounds before moving on to Broadwater Manor School for the fun filled reception. I have to give mention to the Toastmaster Mike Solomons AKA Mr Moustache, current President of the National Association of Toastmasters. His moustache really does defy the law of gravity and has to be seen to be believed! Thank you Charlotte, Paul and all of your family and friends for being so welcoming to me, I had a great day!

About Lancing College Chapel
Lancing College Chapel is one of the great Gothic revival buildings of the south coast, begun in 1868 and still unfinished. It sits on the South Downs above the Sussex coast and its sheer scale — the largest school chapel in the world — gives ceremonies here a near-cathedral feel. Dramatic stone, tall stained glass windows and soaring vaulted ceilings.
Cathedral scale works in the photographer’s favour. Tall stained glass, soaring vaulted ceilings and a long aisle let you frame the couple against architecture other venues spend a fortune trying to imitate. The opening of the service — the bride walking up that aisle — is almost always the album’s hero shot.
