What can I say about Caroline and Edward’s wedding yesterday? What a day! Caroline looked absolutely stunning in an exquisite Ian Stuart dress, Goodwood House more than lived up to expectations yet again bathed in warm sunshine after weeks of rain. Edward was a handsome and very proud Groom and there were more than a few happy tears shed throughout the day. They are clearly the perfect couple, so much in love and with so much to look forward to! Goodwood House really is the perfect wedding venue, the ceremony took place in the Yellow Drawing room and then the guests were able to enjoy drinks and canapés outside before heading into the Ballroom for a delicious meal of Scallops, Goodwood Estate Lamb and Tutti Frutti Baked Alaska. The evening party was absolutely rocking to a fabulous band called The Indie Killers. I have never seen a band get so many people involved, they were absolutely brilliant! Caroline and Edward are off to Africa on Honeymoon so this is just a short taste of what is to come in their full length wedding film.

This wedding was photographed on location in the south of England. Every venue shapes the day in its own way, and the photography is a response to the building, the light and the people in front of me.
The photography of any wedding is a response to the venue, the light and the people in front of me. I work in a documentary style for most of the day and carve out a short portrait session around golden hour, which almost always produces the album’s hero images.
