On Saturday we were fortunate to photograph the wedding of Jacqueline and Rob at Vinopolis on the South Bank of the River Thames. It was a fantastic day with everyone in good spirits and the weather in London reaching a balmy 16 degrees in the morning! Jacqueline got ready at the quirky Andaz Hotel near Liverpool Street and we were able to get some lovely photographs of her in the amazing six storey gallery of the hotel. This staircase appealed to both of our senses of humour – Rob, watch out!

The ceremony and reception both took place in the Grand Halls at Vinopolis, a totally unique venue.

The ceremony was lovely, with personal vows and four readings.

Outside Vinopolis, the streets are reminiscent of a Dickensian film set, perfect for some atmospheric portraits of Jacqueline and Rob together.

And some slightly cheekier portraits inside!

The highlight of the day was the first dance. Jacqueline and Rob had been learning an amazing dance with the help of their friends. You can view a low resolution version of the dance below.
Congratulations Jacqueline and Rob, we hope you have a long and happy life together.

About Vinopolis
Vinopolis is a distinctive wedding venue that brings its own character to the day. Every venue shapes the photography in its own way, and part of my approach is to work with whatever the building and the grounds offer rather than against them.
