Goodwood House wedding photography
Jamie and Ashleigh got married at Goodwood House this weekend. They live in New York and we visited them to do their pre-wedding shoot at The Hamptons in October 2006. The ceremony and reception took place at the house, which is one of our favourite venues and one we work at regularly. We enjoy challenging ourselves to produce a new look for every wedding we photograph there.
It was a very happy day with guests from all over the world particularly New York and Canada and yet again the weather was fantastic allowing us to venture to the Ice House within the grounds of the Estate. The good news for gardeners is we have a weekend off this week so rain is very likely!
We wish Jamie and Ashleigh all the very best for their future lives together.

About Goodwood House
Goodwood House is one of the most prestigious wedding venues in West Sussex. The Regency country house sits at the foot of the South Downs a short drive from Chichester and has been the home of the Dukes of Richmond for more than 300 years. Couples have the run of grand state rooms including the Egyptian Dining Room, Tapestry Drawing Room and Long Hall, with the estate’s 12,000 acres of parkland stretching out beyond.
My favourite time of day in a house like this is usually the late afternoon, when the light gets low and warm and the state rooms start to feel almost lit from within. Couple portraits at that hour, inside or out, tend to be the strongest images in the album.
