Jennie and Steve’s wedding at Littlecote Manor

Sep 2, 2007 | Wedding photographer Sussex

Yesterday we photographed the wedding of Jennie and Steve at Littlecote Manor.  This was our first time at the venue and it is absolutely beautiful inside and out.  It was a day of surprises from the bus picking the boys up in the morning to a casino for all the guests in the evening.

Jennie got ready at the Vineyard Hotel at Stockcross, another lovely location with so much scope for photography.  She looked classically beautiful in her simple but very elegant dress.

Her lovely smile lasted for the entire day!

Steve looked totally at home in the library as Lord of the Manor while he waited for Jennie to arrive!

Along with the bus, an old and very cute Austin taxi provided the transport for the day.

Steve and Jennie are setting off on honeymoon on Monday to a top secret destination!  Congratulations to you both and thank you for letting us be a part of your day.

About Littlecote Manor

Littlecote Manor is a country house wedding venue in the best English tradition — grand reception rooms, formal gardens and the kind of gravel-drive approach that sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. Couples typically use the main state rooms for the ceremony and dinner, with the grounds opening up space for portraits and evening drinks.

What I love shooting in a venue like this is the range of backdrops within a few minutes’ walk. One set of portraits in the grand formal rooms; a completely different set on the lawns; another in a walled garden or courtyard. The album ends up covering what feels like several very different locations.
