Katie and Danny’s wedding

Oct 23, 2007 | Wedding photographer Sussex

We had the pleasure of photographing Katie and Danny’s wedding on Sunday afternoon.  We knew from their pre-wedding portrait that it would be a fun day but nothing quite prepared us for the energy and love that was in evidence for the whole day.  The ceremony took place at the Woodside Park Synagogue followed by a reception at the Regency Banqueting Suite.  In the evening, our favourite band, The Jazz Dynamos provided the entertainment playing lively Israeli music alongside their fantastic range of well know covers.  If you have not heard the Jazz Dynamos you should check them out at https://www.jazzdynamos.co.uk/  Katie and Danny are now off on their honeymoon in Thailand but we look forward to catching up with them on their return.

Mazel Tov Katie and Danny!

Wedding photography notes

This wedding was photographed on location in the south of England. Every venue shapes the day in its own way, and the photography is a response to the building, the light and the people in front of me.

The photography of any wedding is a response to the venue, the light and the people in front of me. I work in a documentary style for most of the day and carve out a short portrait session around golden hour, which almost always produces the album’s hero images.
