Beautiful weather yesterday for Lindsay & Dan’s wedding at Silchester House. Lindsay wore an Oleg Cassini dress and had five Bridesmen with hot pink cravets, having grown up with them all from her junior school years she wanted to break with the traditional bridesmaids and have bridesmen.

Couples typically use the main state rooms for the ceremony and dinner, with the grounds opening up space for portraits and evening drinks.
What I love shooting in a venue like this is the range of backdrops within a few minutes’ walk. One set of portraits in the grand formal rooms; a completely different set on the lawns; another in a walled garden or courtyard. The album ends up covering what feels like several very different locations.
