Rex and Emma married yesterday and Bev photographed their ceremony at St John’s Church in Rolands Castle followed by a reception at Staunton Country Park.
Emma arrived at the church in a stunning carriage pulled by two beautiful grey horses and yet again the weather came good just in time! The ceremony was amazing with all the music provided by Rex’s band https://www.rexallchurch.com/ and most of the hymns were written by Rex. The music was fantastic and added greatly to the traditional ceremony. There was so much feeling and happiness in the church.
After the ceremony they were transported by the horse and carriage again in glorious sunshine to Staunton Country park where we went to the lake for some gorgeous photos of the two of them together and these were followed by family group photographs on the lovely staircase in the gardens. Finally everyone made their way to the barn for supper but not before feeding the baby lambs and alpaca’s in the farmyard – definitely a first for us!
I hope Emma and Rex have a very blessed and happy life together – I am sure they will!

Wedding photography notes
This wedding was photographed on location in the south of England. Every venue shapes the day in its own way, and the photography is a response to the building, the light and the people in front of me.
The photography of any wedding is a response to the venue, the light and the people in front of me. I work in a documentary style for most of the day and carve out a short portrait session around golden hour, which almost always produces the album’s hero images.
