Friday saw us at the wedding of Gemma and Michael at our most local wedding venue, the simply stunning Southend Barns. Here are our favourite two images from the day – full blog post to follow shortly.
Bev’s favourite image is this adorable pageboy caught waiting for the girls to finish getting ready. He is clearly bored of waiting and looking forward to getting on with things! Totally unposed and natural.

Barrie’s favourite image was taken in magical light just as the sun was just beginning to drop. Southend Barns is surrounded by beautiful scenery and this relaxed image of Gemma and Michael has captured both.

About Southend Barns
Southend Barns is a trio of converted 17th-century Sussex barns on the outskirts of Chichester. The venue has become a firm favourite for couples wanting a rustic feel without compromising on comfort — exposed beams, flagstone floors and an enclosed courtyard garden that holds the crowd through drinks and canapés.
Barn light changes character as the sun moves. Morning preparation in one corner; afternoon speeches with light coming through the hayloft window; evening portraits lit by fairy lights and candles. A good barn wedding album ends up being almost a tour of the building’s light.
