Stansted House Wedding Photography – Rosie and Darren

Jun 29, 2014 | Wedding photographer Sussex

Yesterday we were photographing the wedding of Rosie and Darren at beautiful Stansted House near Rowland’s Castle.  Since we had so much fun photographing Rosie and Darren in the Bluebell woods last month we were really looking forward to their wedding.  Here are a couple of taster images from the day – I love this image of Rosie as she was getting ready at home, it sums up just how relaxed and happy she was on the morning.  Barrie has chosen a shot from the ceremony taken on the amazing Fuji XT1 – it has everything, a proud Father, a happy Bride, a nervous Groom being given support (or something) by his Best Man!

The full post with lots more images will be coming soon.

About Stansted House

Stansted House is a grand Edwardian country house on the West Sussex–Hampshire border, sitting at the end of a two-mile avenue of lime trees. Rebuilt in 1903 after a fire destroyed the earlier Caroline mansion, the house combines formal state rooms with wide lawns and a walled kitchen garden, all enclosed by 1,750 acres of park.

What I love shooting in a venue like this is the range of backdrops within a few minutes’ walk. One set of portraits in the grand formal rooms; a completely different set on the lawns; another in a walled garden or courtyard. The album ends up covering what feels like several very different locations.
