Arriving at the venue by private plane with the Bride and two of her friends was certainly one of the most glamorous ways I have ever arrived at a wedding! Yesterday Barrie and I both photographed Natalie and Darren’s wedding at the beautiful Orchardleigh Estate in Somerset and the owner of the Estate, Chris Vincent made sure the day started in style by collecting Natalie in his plane from Lee on Solent and flying her directly to the private airstrip at the venue. The couple were married in the tiny church on the Estate and then made their way back to Orchardleigh House for the reception. We had a fantastic time with them as they gave us lots of time to capture our signature shots around the Estate, the billiard table proved to be just too tempting! They are off to the Maldives for their honeymoon and we wish them both every happiness for the future.

About Orchardleigh
Orchardleigh is a distinctive wedding venue that brings its own character to the day. Every venue shapes the photography in its own way, and part of my approach is to work with whatever the building and the grounds offer rather than against them.
