Brocket Hall Wedding Photography – Kyle and Lisa

Nov 17, 2013 | Wedding Photographers London

Brocket Hall in Hertfordshire was the venue for the wedding celebrations of Kyle and Lisa. The weather was rather cold and damp but the Hall more than compensated with it’s bright, warm and welcoming interior. We arrived two hours prior to the ceremony to capture the excitement of the pre-wedding preparations. Bev joined Lisa and her fabulously fun Bridesmaids while Barrie was with the guys. The preparations were really fun and relaxed and we got some great candid images as well as some more directed photographs of the boys with a white Audi R8, which had been loaned to Kyle for a few days. Lisa’s father was visibly moved when he saw his gorgeous daughter dressed and ready to marry Kyle – what a proud Dad!

The ceremony took place in the Boardroom of Brocket Hall and Kyle wasted no time in having his first kiss with his new wife! After the ceremony, we took Kyle and Lisa down to the bridge for a few shots together looking back towards the Hall. Although the weather wasn’t fantastic, the photographs we got are! Drinks and canapes in the Hall took us up to dinner time, which was served in the amazing ballroom and the food as usual was perfect. Speeches followed the meal with Lisa’s Father giving a very moving and funny speech followed by a very proud Kyle paying a wonderful tribute to his new wife, Lisa. During the Best Man’s great speech, Allan McNish who drives the Audi Le Mans car that Kyle engineers had sent a very funny message for Kyle although I think this was one day where the car was very much the second lady in Kyle’s life!

After the meal, guests were entertained by a great firework display over the Brocket Hall Lake before the dancing kicked off into the evening!

About Brocket Hall

Brocket Hall is an 18th-century Grade I listed country house set in 543 acres of Hertfordshire parkland just outside Welwyn. The house has been home to two British Prime Ministers and retains its grand Palladian state rooms, including the magnificent ballroom lit by its original chandeliers. Ceremonies can be held indoors or by the lake.

The scale of a venue like this means I can move through the day without ever feeling rushed or on top of the guests. Wide reception rooms, long corridors and the grounds outside give me space to work both close and at distance — which is how you end up with an album that has real variety in it.
