Anna and Paul were married yesterday on an absolutely perfect August Bank Holiday Saturday. The weather could not have been kinder for what turned out to be a really special day. Barrie joined the boys on the Golf Course at Goodwood in the morning.

The ceremony took place at St James’ Church in Birdham which is less than a mile from our house. Anna arrived at the church in a Rolls Royce Phantom while the Guests were transported in an open topped bus. Paul had to make do with his new Ferrari!

Anna and Paul avoided getting caught in the Bank Holiday traffic by hopping in a Bell Jetranger helicopter after the ceremony and flying in to Goodwood House.

Goodwood House looked absolutely beautiful bathed in the afternoon sunshine.

As did Paul and Anna who were both fantastic to photograph. We made use of one of our favourite locations, the back staircase at Goodwood House!

At 10pm as a thank you to all their friends and family there was a brilliant fireworks display from Kimbolton fireworks. It was a truely magical end to a great wedding. Congratulations Anna and Paul and thank you for letting us be a part of your day.

About Goodwood House
Goodwood House is one of the most prestigious wedding venues in West Sussex. The Regency country house sits at the foot of the South Downs a short drive from Chichester and has been the home of the Dukes of Richmond for more than 300 years. Couples have the run of grand state rooms including the Egyptian Dining Room, Tapestry Drawing Room and Long Hall, with the estate’s 12,000 acres of parkland stretching out beyond.
A country house wedding tends to reward an unhurried approach. I work in a documentary style for most of the day — capturing guests settling in, the quiet moments before the ceremony and the relaxed pace of a long reception — with a short focused portrait session somewhere that suits the house.
