As well as photographing weddings, which we love, we also enjoy exploring other areas of photography. We include a lot of landscapes in our wedding imagery and so photographing landscapes is something that is both fun and useful. We were really pleased to hear last week that Barrie has been nominated along with five other photographers for the title of Landscape Photographer of the Year by the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers out of hundreds of entrants throughout the year. To receive this nomination is a huge honour and now we have to wait until January when we will be going to the annual convention in London to find out whether he has won the overall title. As wedding photographers this is a quite unusual accolade to receive!
