Brockett Hall Wedding Photography – Fiona and Anders

Jul 27, 2014 | Wedding Photographers London

Yesterday was the most perfect day for the wedding of Fiona and Anders at Brockett Hall in Hertfordshire.  What a brilliant day!  Amazing flowers, beautiful weather, lots of Danish traditions, Jaegerbombs, magic, fireworks – can’t wait to share the full post with you all.   Here are a couple of our favourites from the day – both feature the incredible views from the drive to the Hall.

About Brockett Hall

Brockett Hall is a country house wedding venue in the best English tradition — grand reception rooms, formal gardens and the kind of gravel-drive approach that sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. Couples typically use the main state rooms for the ceremony and dinner, with the grounds opening up space for portraits and evening drinks.

Country houses like this one reward a photographer who knows where to find good light. I spend time during the day finding the windows that flood the main rooms with soft, directional light and pairing those with the grounds outside for couple portraits. If the weather turns, interiors this rich stand on their own without needing a blue sky.
