Chelsea Registry office wedding of Alexander and Laura

Dec 27, 2015 | Wedding Photographers London

Alexander and Laura are from Russia and were married just before Christmas at the Chelsea Registry office on the Kings Road on a unseasonably mild day in December. Laura looked amazing in her Valentino dress and matching Jimmy Choo shoes.

As it was just the two of them here in the UK they decided they wanted to meet up with me before the ceremony at Westminster Bridge and have some photos looking back across the river towards the Houses of parliament and Big Ben. We then jumped in a cab and headed across to Chelsea for some photos around the area of the Kings Road and then into the registry office for their ceremony which was witnessed by two Chelsea Pensioners.

They were then heading off to have a romantic meal in one of the Top London restaurants to celebrate their marriage.

About Chelsea Registry office

Chelsea Registry office is a registry office ceremony venue with the straightforward, legally-focused tone that comes with civil weddings. Many couples pair it with a separate reception venue nearby for the rest of the day.

Registry office weddings tend to be short, sharp and focused — and I match that pace with the photography. A smaller ceremony leaves more time for portraits and guests afterwards, and I often end up with a stronger album than for a much longer day elsewhere.
