Stationers Hall London wedding photography
– Erica & Deri were married on Saturday at Our Lady & St Catherine of Siena on Bow Road in the East End of London. Father Michael presided over the wedding ceremony in a very calm and relaxed fashion on an unseasonable warm afternoon in October. Erica and Derri then departed for their reception venue the rather beautiful surroundings of the Stationers Hall just around the corner from St Paul Cathedral, The original hall was destroyed in the great fire of London but the new hall dating from 1673 is a rather special place to have a wedding reception.
After greeting their guests with champagne upon arrival Erica & Deri wanted a few of my signature photos in and around Stationers Hall and I hope they are as delighted with the results as I am. I love photographing weddings as the nights start to draw in, as you can create some dramatic wedding photographs with clever use of the ambient light from some of the many light sources on the streets of London.
