Gareth and Rachel were married at Magdelin College Oxford and then went onto the Jam Factory for their reception. Rachel wore a dress designed and made by her mother carrying on the family tradition as her mother was married in a dress made by Rachel’s grandmother.

About Magdelin College Oxford and The Jam Factory

Magdelin College Oxford and The Jam Factory offers the distinctive atmosphere of a Cambridge/Oxford-style college wedding — ancient quads, stone cloisters and dining halls full of tradition.

College weddings carry a quiet formality that I love photographing. Quads, cloisters and chapel interiors — none of which look anything like a country house wedding. I lean into that difference rather than trying to photograph it the same way.
