Yesterday we were at the gorgeous Newick Park Hotel in East Sussex for the wedding of Phil and Suzanne. They both live in New York but travelled back to be married with friends and family here in the UK. I think it is safe to say that the UK weather gave them a much colder and wetter day than they might have had in New York however the rain did not dampen the atmosphere of what was a very fun and lively day! Suzanne and Phil chose to do a first look before their wedding ceremony. This is when the Bride and Groom arrange to see each other on their own rather than in the ceremony room. It was a lovely moment and they were both clearly very happy to see one another. By doing a first look, they were able to spend a couple of hours with their guests before the ceremony. It was lovely for us to see Kate and Grant whose wedding we photographed three years ago who were guests of Suzanne and Phil – it is always great to catch up with previous couples. Newick Park is a fantastic wedding venue and the staff made sure the day ran seamlessly throughout.
