The Claridges wedding of Jane and David
What a brilliant afternoon at my favourite wedding venue Claridges for the intimate wedding of Jane and David. When I arrived Jane and the girls were siping champagne in one of the recently refurbished rooms overlooking Mayfair while the boys were getting ready in another room. Jane looked stylish and wonderfully elegant in her amazing Amanda Wakeley dress and Manolo Blahnik shoes and it was a delight to photograph her with her mother and her children surrounding her before she set of for the wedding ceremony.
David was getting ready in an adjacent room with his son and his daughter in attendance for moral support and much joking and laughter (mostly at Davids expense!) kept him relaxed before he saw his stunning bride in the surroundings of one of Mayfair’s finest rooms where the ceremony was to be held. It was so lovely to see the love and affection everyone had for this couple and the pleasure of seeing them tie the knot in with such a small party of people with just the immediate family and everyone made me feel so welcome and not at all like I was intruding.
I spent a short time with David and Jane in a couple of places around Claridges getting some photos of the two of them together and also some family shots during dinner before I left them to have an amazing dinner in Fera the wonderful restaurant at Claridges.
I must make a special mention regarding Tom the wedding planner at Claridges who looked after their every need, he is so professional but incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble, he really did add to the day and this level of service and great staff is what makes any occasion at Claridges seem so personal and special.
