London Eye wedding
On Friday afternoon we joined Donna and Gordon for their wedding ceremony on the London Eye. This was a first for us and a really great experience! The civil wedding took place in the pod of the London Eye and they were declared husband and wife 135 meters above the City. Following the Civil Ceremony we headed to the City for an intimate Church Blessing at St Mary’s, Bishopsgate. Donna and Gordon were very keen for fun, artistic photographs and we of course were happy to oblige! We made full use of the great architecture in the area particularly the Lloyds building that Donna works in. After the photos were finished everyone headed to the Ritz for a meal at which point we left them to enjoy their evening.

About on the London Eye
on the London Eye is the kind of urban wedding venue that tells you, the moment you walk in, that this isn’t going to be a traditional country-house day. Strong architecture, modern interiors and city views set a very different tone.
The advantage of a city-centre venue is that you can walk out of the front door into a completely different photographic environment. Five minutes of portraits against glass, stone or street lights gives an album images that couldn’t have been taken at any other kind of wedding.
