Bev photographed the wedding of Letizia and Rob at the weekend. The ceremony took place in the absolutely stunning Church of the Immaculate Conception in Farm Street, W1.

The reception was at Spencer House, a very elegant private palace in St James Park built in the Eighteenth Century for the Spencer Family.

Before all the guests arrived there was a short time for some photographs of Rob and Letizia together on the lovely staircase.

Letizia looked beautiful and fitted in perfectly with the elegant surroundings of the Palm Room.

The cake cutting was very fitting with Rob’s background in the Army. A ceremonial sword made light work of the lemon sponge cake!

Congratulations to you both and I hope you have a lovely honeymoon.
About Spencer House
Spencer House is a Georgian townhouse in St James’s, built in the 1750s and 60s for the 1st Earl Spencer — neoclassical state rooms overlooking Green Park, right in the middle of London rather than out in the countryside. Couples typically use the State Rooms for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, with the garden terrace giving space for drinks and portraits.
My favourite time of day in a house like this is usually the late afternoon, when the light gets low and warm and the State Rooms start to feel almost lit from within. Couple portraits at that hour, inside or out, tend to be the strongest images in the album.
