Simon and Karen’s wedding at Bosham Church and Bosham Hoe

Jun 15, 2009 | Wedding photographer Sussex

Yesterday we photographed the wedding of Simon and Karen. It was a perfect and fun filled day and they were keen to get plenty of our artistic signature shots, which was a lot of fun! The day had a lot of surprises for the guests including decorated tractors to take them back from the church to the reception and an aerobatic flying display by Stuart Becker. It was a privilege to join them and their guests for the wedding breakfast, which was absolutely delicious!

About Bosham Church and Bosham Hoe

Bosham Church and Bosham Hoe is a traditional parish church wedding venue with the quiet formality that comes with a church ceremony. The stone interior, stained-glass windows and peal of bells set the tone before guests move on to the reception nearby.

The strongest church photography tends to happen at the two ends of the ceremony — the bride arriving at the door and the couple leaving as husband and wife. Both are fleeting, and I’m usually in position well before they happen so nothing gets missed.
