I had the privilege of photographing the wedding of Yvette and Steve yesterday at Upwaltham Barns. Upwaltham Barns is a beautiful local venue and the Bride and her Bridesmaids are able to get ready in the lovely Jasmine Cottage at the Barns. It was a perfect spring day for them and their colour scheme of yellow and purple fitted the atmosphere and venue perfectly, Yvette was a little worried there wouldn’t be enough confetti to go around but I think the picture below tells the true story! There was lots of entertainment throughout the day including nominated guests carving the meal at the tables and live band, The Lionels playing in the evening. Yvette and Steve are off on honeymoon to Mauritius and I am really looking forward to catching up with them both when they get home.

About Upwaltham Barns
Upwaltham Barns sits in a quiet pocket of the South Downs between Petworth and Chichester. The complex of three restored flint-and-brick farm buildings — Ceremony Barn, Barley Barn and Yard Barn — gives couples a complete end-to-end venue with accommodation, ceremony space and reception areas all on the same working farm. It’s one of West Sussex’s most popular barn weddings for a reason.
Barn light changes character as the sun moves. Morning preparation in one corner; afternoon speeches with light coming through the hayloft window; evening portraits lit by fairy lights and candles. A good barn wedding album ends up being almost a tour of the building’s light.
