We had a perfect day yesterday for the wedding of Maren and Nathaniel. Maren got ready at the Old Railway Station Hotel, which is gorgeous – some of the rooms are in original Pullman Carriages. The ceremony took place in the chapel at Nathaniel’s old school, Seaford College and he drove the couple to their reception in a fantastic convertible Morgan car. Barrie was my very able assistant on the day and we got some great shots of the couple and their six Groomsmen and five Bridesmaids next to a ploughed field on the farm. Who says wedding photography isn’t glamorous! In the evening the band Flood the Floor entertained the guests. Maren and Nat are off to Italy on their honeymoon and I wish them every happiness in the future.

About Seaford College and Fitzleroi Barn
Seaford College and Fitzleroi Barn offers the relaxed, rustic feel that so many couples are now looking for: exposed beams, warm wood, open courtyards and plenty of outdoor space for drinks and evening firepits. Barn venues like this tend to give a long, unhurried day that lends itself naturally to reportage photography.
The biggest advantage of a barn venue is the transition between indoor and outdoor through the day — ceremony inside or out, drinks in the courtyard, dinner back inside, evening dancing spilling out under fairy lights. I follow that rhythm rather than fighting it.
