Digital files get lost between phones and laptops. A fine art album doesn't. Each one is hand-bound on museum-grade paper with a choice of covers, and designed around the images you choose.

London wedding photography prices, explained
Couples in London typically spend between £1,300 and £3,800 on their wedding photographer. Here's what actually moves that number, and what to check before you compare quotes.
Affordable, without going cheap
Affordable London wedding photography is mostly a question of hours, not of finding a cheaper photographer.
- Buy the hours you need. A register office ceremony takes an hour or two, not twelve. Hourly coverage from £350 covers the ceremony, confetti on the steps and a short set of portraits.
- Look at the middle of the day. The 5-hour Essential collection runs from the ceremony to the speeches, which is where most of the images couples print and hang come from.
- Be flexible on the date. Mid-week and out-of-season weddings are quoted individually and often work out better value.
- Cut hours, not quality. A shorter booking photographed well will outlast a full day photographed cheaply.
The hidden costs to ask about
- Travel. Photographers based outside London may add travel fees. There are none here for London weddings.
- Editing and downloads. A low headline price often leaves out editing time, download rights or a gallery you can share. Every price on this page includes all three.
- Turnaround. Some galleries take six weeks or more. Yours arrives within one week.
- Albums and extras. Check whether albums, prints or a second photographer are in the quote. Here they're listed separately, so nothing is bundled in that you don't want.
Why wedding photography costs what it does
An 8-hour wedding is closer to 40 hours of work once you count the planning calls, emails, travel, backing up, choosing and editing every image. Add professional cameras and lenses with full backups, insurance that venues require, and the experience to be in the right place without getting in the way.
Cheap London wedding photography is often advertised below £700, but that saving has to come from somewhere, usually experience, insurance, backup equipment or editing time.
Choosing the right collection
Start with your timeline. If the moments you care about run from getting ready to the first dance, Classic is the natural fit. If it's a city ceremony and lunch, Essential or hourly coverage will do the job beautifully.
Then check the essentials in any quote: how many hours, what's edited, how quickly the gallery arrives and whether you own the print rights. Keep formal group shots to six or seven, so you spend the day with your guests rather than standing in one spot.

Questions about cost & booking
What's included in every collection?
Every image fully edited at no extra charge, your complete gallery within one week via a private online gallery, high-resolution downloads with full printing rights and no watermarks. There are no hidden extras. The price you see is the price of the collection.
Do you charge for travel?
Not for weddings in London. I regularly cover Sussex, Surrey, Kent and the wider South East, and destination weddings are quoted individually with travel planned together.
How do I secure my date?
Check your date in the live diary, send an enquiry, choose your collection and I'll email over your booking form. Your date is secured once the form is signed and the non-refundable booking fee is paid.
What is your cancellation policy?
The booking fee is non-refundable. If you cancel more than 90 days before the wedding, 20% of the balance is due; within 90 days, 50% of the balance; and within 60 days, 100% of the balance. If plans change, tell me as soon as possible and I'll always try to help move a date, subject to availability.
Can we add extra hours or a second photographer?
Yes. Additional coverage is £250 per hour, a second photographer is £1,250, and a wedding day film starts from £2,995. A pre-wedding shoot is £850, or 10% less when booked with your wedding.
Do you offer mid-week or out-of-season rates?
Mid-week, winter and out-of-season dates are quoted individually and often work out better value. There are also reduced rates on a few remaining late-availability 2026 dates, so just ask.
How much does a London wedding photographer cost on average?
Typically between £1,300 and £3,800 depending on hours and extras. Cheaper options exist, but the saving usually comes from experience, insurance, backup equipment or editing time. If budget is tight, buy fewer hours rather than a cheaper photographer.
How far in advance should we book?
Twelve to eighteen months ahead is ideal for peak Saturdays between May and September. Weekdays and winter weddings can often be booked closer to the date, and a few last-minute slots open up every year.
