Wedding at Goodwood House West Sussex

Debbie and Steve were married on Saturday at one of my favourite wedding venues Goodwood House in West Sussex. They held their ceremony in the yellow drawing room and then had champagne and canapés while some of their guests were taken on tours of the historic house before moving through to the ballroom in the evening for the wedding breakfast. Here are just a few of my favourite photographs from their wedding day.

About Goodwood House West Sussex Debbie & Steve

Goodwood House West Sussex Debbie & Steve is a country house wedding venue in the best English tradition — grand reception rooms, formal gardens and the kind of gravel-drive approach that sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. Couples typically use the main state rooms for the ceremony and dinner, with the grounds opening up space for portraits and evening drinks.

The scale of a venue like this means I can move through the day without ever feeling rushed or on top of the guests. Wide reception rooms, long corridors and the grounds outside give me space to work both close and at distance — which is how you end up with an album that has real variety in it.
