On Friday we were at Goodwood House for the gorgeous Winter wedding of Debbie and Martin. Goodwood House looked spectacular inside and out with two huge Christmas trees and roaring log fires. Debbie and Martin both got ready at the Goodwood Park Hotel and the guests were transported to the House in a Vintage bus while Debbie travelled in style in a Rolls-Royce Phantom.
The wedding ceremony took place in the Yellow Drawing Room and Debbie broke with tradition by doing a reading of ‘Yes I’ll Marry You’. Debbie’s son, Gregor did a fine job carrying the rings for the couple. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a tour of the state apartments while we took group shots in the Tapestry room and candid images of the guests enjoying drinks and canapes in the Front Hall.
The Ballroom had been decorated beautifully with small vases of white flowers on each table – it is such a grand room that these simple flowers looked beautiful. The speeches, which followed the meal were very funny particularly the story of how the couple came to be together after so many years! Evening entertainment included a DJ, Ceilidh and photobooth and the couple left with driveway rain at 11.30.
