Jenny and Chris’s wedding at Ghyll Manor

May 25, 2008 | Wedding photographer Sussex

Jennie and Chris were married at Ghyll Manor and Barrie had the pleasure of photographing the day for them.  The ceremony and reception both took place at Ghyll Manor and to entertain the guests they had an excellent close up magician (with plenty of ball tricks!) and a live band in the evening.  It was a really enjoyable day and we wish them both every happiness together.

About Ghyll Manor

Ghyll Manor is a country house wedding venue in the best English tradition — grand reception rooms, formal gardens and the kind of gravel-drive approach that sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. Couples typically use the main state rooms for the ceremony and dinner, with the grounds opening up space for portraits and evening drinks.

The scale of a venue like this means I can move through the day without ever feeling rushed or on top of the guests. Wide reception rooms, long corridors and the grounds outside give me space to work both close and at distance — which is how you end up with an album that has real variety in it.
