Weddings at Sheraton Park Lane Hotel London
We have photographed a beautiful wedding at the Park Lane Hotel in London, it’s a wonderful Art Deco wedding venue at the bottom of Park Lane and a short walk to Buckingham Palace which is where we went to take a few photos of the bride and groom after the ceremony. We walked through the park past the Ritz and down towards the palace and quite a few tourists stopped to take pictures of the newlyweds on route.
After taking time out for their photos in the park and around the Palace we headed back to the Park Lane Hotel with its beautiful Art Deco interior which was once the haunt of the rich and famous in 1920’s Mayfair. The Hotel originally opened in 1927 and has just undergone a major renovation installing modern features now expected of a five-star hotel alongside the sympathetic restoration which retains all of the original 1920’s elegance and Art Deco glamour of this fabulous jewel in the centre of Mayfair.
After drinks in the Smith and Whistle a gorgeous 1920’s themed bar the guests make there way to the full size Art Deco Ballroom for the reception and with its now private entrance your guests feel like they have the most coveted private ballroom in London at their disposal.
This grand old dame now 90 years old is once again on of the premiere wedding venues in London for brides from across the world.
