One Whitehall Place is a Victorian building on the river side of Whitehall, between the Embankment and Horse Guards. It shares the building with the National Liberal Club and sits next to the Royal Horseguards hotel, so your guests can stay next door.
The staircase and the Gladstone Ballroom
The thing everyone remembers is the staircase. It’s a free-standing marble spiral, one of the finest in London, and it’s the place for your big group photo: everyone on the stairs, with me shooting from the floor above or below.
Rahul and Nazrin married in the Gladstone Ballroom and stayed there for supper. The ceremony included one of Nazrin’s favourite poems, translated from Azeri into English by a friend, and before they sat down they performed a traditional Azerbaijani wedding dance. Portraits by the river
You’re two minutes from the Embankment. Westminster Bridge, Big Ben and the London Eye are a short walk one way, and Horse Guards and St James’s Park are the other. Rahul and Nazrin did a tour in a white London cab before the ceremony, with stops on Westminster Bridge and the South Bank. If you do the same, go before the guests arrive and pick two or three stops rather than trying to see everything.

Prices
One Whitehall Place weddings are priced the same as the rest of my London work: £1,350 for five hours, £1,800 for eight and £2,200 for eleven. Every image is edited, and smaller weddings get their full gallery within 24 hours. Full details are on my London wedding photography prices page.
