Anna and Paul were married at Goodwood House just before Christmas. Goodwood is a magical venue for a winter wedding with the wonderful sight of the Christmas tree on the turning circle outside the house and roaring log fires to welcome you as you enter the house there is no better place for a winter wedding than here in the heart of the Sussex Downs.
Anna got ready at the Goodwood Hotel where they were staying with their family, The Hotel is the perfect location for a bride to get ready, the morning was filled with laughter as Anna and her bridesmaids enjoyed some bubbly.
Paul arrived at Goodwood House in a vintage car driven by his groomsmen, they were greeted by family members before making their way into the house where they were married in the Drawing Room. The couple said their vows in front of all their closest family and friends, it was a truly magical moment.
Anna arrived with her father looking amazing in her pure white wedding dress and winter bouquet accompanied by her three bridesmaids and flower girls, after the ceremony in the yellow drawing room the couple were greeted in the main hall by champagne and canapés followed by their guests. Some of the guests embarked on a tour of the house and told of all the stories and hidden treasures along with viewing the fabulous art collection including famous works by Stubbs and Canaletto.
After some family photos in the tapestry room, it was time to head to the magnificent ballroom for their wedding breakfast, which looked amazing and they had Magic Singh entertain them with his close-up magic. Even after paying close attention to him, I could not figure out how he produced such amazing visual tricks!
After some emotional and at times hilarious speeches it was time to head to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple and with the band, in full swing, the dance floor was soon full for the night.
It was a truly magical day, and the couple were so lucky to have such wonderful weather on their special day. Anna and Paul had a wonderful winter wedding at Goodwood House that they will remember forever!
As the night drew to an end, Anna and Paul left the house in a shower of confetti and made their way to the car, waving goodbye to all their family and friends. They drove away into the night, with all the memories of their special winter wedding day!
The couple spent the following days reminiscing about all that had happened on their special day. From the beautiful ceremony to the delicious food, it had truly been a day that would never be forgotten. It was certainly an unforgettable winter wedding at Goodwood House
It was a magical day and one that Anna and Paul will never forget. They will look back on this special occasion for many years to come with fond memories of their perfect winter wedding.
